RAGI KARA PUTTU Ingredients: Roasted flour - 1 cup Green gram - 1 tbl spn Sprouts - 1 tbl spn Fenugreek sprouts - 1 tbl spn Grated fresh coconut - 1 ½ tbl spn Salt - to taste Oil - as required Mustard seeds - ½ tsp Black gram dhal - 1 tsp Red chillies - 2 broken Green chilli - 1 cut Curry leaves - 1 spring Asafoetida - 2 pinches Method: Dry roast ragi flour until it leaves good aroma. Dissolve salt in warm water, sprinkle on top of ragi flour. Mix well using finger tips, Tie it in a clean cotton cloth and steam cook for 10 minutes. Take out and use fingertips to separate it. Heat oil, add seasonings, cooked dhal, steamed ragi, little more salt, coconut and mix well.
