So, erm... still on lock down. You have no friggin' clue how much I crave for fish these days. My mouth waters at the mere thought of fresh fish on the grill. But no... I had to live in a landlocked province. No lakes, far away from the sea, a river that barely has any water left due to quarrying... NOPE. Fish from where I am now is too expensive and usually not as fresh as you'd like. Gotta stick with the cheapest protein source for the time being. There's this bloke who makes his rounds around town peddling pork every weekend. When you make a purchase, you usually get pork blood as a freebie. I have been buying from him for three weekends consecutive, and the free pork blood is piling up in the freezer. 'Tis a sin to waste food in these trying times, and so I cooked dinuguan. It's the perfect natural iron supplement for anyone who has binged on Netflix and social media lately. Let's all hope this goddamn lock down reaches its end soon!
