Trish Vickers was a blind author who wrote a novel by hand using a system of rubber bands and a clipboard to help guide her pen across the page as she wrote. One day Trish's son Simon came to read her work to her and she handed him 26 blank pages, her pen had run out of ink while she was writing. Simon brought the blank pages to the Dorset Police Station where the forensics department recovered the written words.
