@healthchannel11 years agoHi Serinne, it is recommended to brush your teeth twice a day (for 5 year olds and older) with fluoride toothpaste for at least 2 minutes. But without good rinsing is just as important! Rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth for at least 1 minute with water. Good luck! :) ...3

They actually treat ALL causes of bad breath and don't focus on one or guess too much. @jaydenfalcon15737 years agoPLZ HELP IM MISERABLE! I been suffering with a bad smell every time I exhale through my nose and the smells change. (BO, vomit, poop, bad breath, bad carbonated sour smell, pee.) I'm 14 and have been suffering for two years. I'm been bullied ever since this has happened and no one even wants to be by me and even my teachers talk about it and do it. They sniffle every time and cover their nose or turn away or say it's stinks looking at me. I always have a bad taste in my mouth,when I put gum in you can still smell it and when I brush my teeth it only last for like five minutes before bad taste comes back sometimes I throw up my mucus. I even took steroids to irrigate with and it didn't work. No allergy medicines work. I went to ent doctor during spring break and I got a mini cat scan and my sinuses were clear, but the spray they give you to open up made me able to breath better but my nose is always stuffy. I always hold my breath when I'm around people and it makes me want to cry knowing that this has taken over my life. I've missed a lot of school because it's torture and now I'm going into high school. My parents say they can't smell anything but they always sniffle and rub there nose around me. My dad has chronic sinusitis and had this problem but now he doesn't have the bad smell anymore. They always forget and make me go places with a bunch of people and people always sniffle around me and block their nose around me. I have to hold my breath and it's hard. My mom thinks it's in my head and my dad understands but doesn't think of my problem. Even my family members do it which is embarrassing. Plz someone tell me that their is a answer cause idk if I can take it for any longer. I basically cry every night and have anxiety attacks thinking of going to school and when I'm sitting close to people and now I'm closterphobic. I irrigating for one year straight and it didn't help so And I took amoxicillin but had to stop because I had bad stomach aches and diarrhea. Plzzzz someone help me ...4

@healthchannel11 years agoWauw! 10 Minutes, you really go for shiny, healthy teeth eh? ;) Very good to brush a bit longer than 2 minutes, which is the minimum. In general that is what is advised by dentists. It seems like there is not any proven advantage in brushing much more minutes than 2/3. For personal advice you could always ask you dentist what he or she thinks! good luck ...

@afiaserwaa97572 years agoBrush your teeth with coconut oil and gargle and move it around in your mouth. Spit it out and brush your teeth normally with your toothpaste and use hydrogen peroxide 3% as your mouth wash and gargle with it. Spit it out and rinse with water. Your breath and mouth will be fresh all day and even when you wake up the next morning. I do this everyday. The coconut oil and hydrogen peroxide also helps with whitening! ...
